Our Mission

We believe every child, regardless of background, deserves to thrive.

Every initiative, every event, and every dollar we raise goes directly toward creating opportunities for children in the Greater Toronto Area who need it most.

Education & Health

We champion access to quality learning resources, tutoring, and educational programs — while also raising funds for mental wellness and physical health so every child grows up safe, supported, and ready to learn.

Community Impact

Rooted right here in the GTA, we work alongside local organizations, families, and volunteers to create lasting, meaningful change in the neighbourhoods where children live and grow.

Raising Awareness

We advocate loudly for children's rights and needs, organizing events and campaigns that bring communities together around what matters most — giving every child a fair and equal chance.

The First Chapter was founded by two students from the Greater Toronto Area who saw inequity in their communities and decided to act. What started as a conversation became a registered non-profit dedicated to children's futures.

We believe that young people have the power to create change right now — not someday. Every initiative we run is student-led, community-focused, and driven by genuine care for the children of the GTA.
